according to Dave Marsh, it sounds like it was recorded live at Animal
House. Originally done in the late 50s by **** Holler and the Holidays,
and covered in 1966 by both the K-Otics and the Swingin Medallions, the
latter of whom took it all the way to #17 that summer. And as for Holler
himself, he went on to write Abraham, Martin, and John - which goes to
