This album has been such a beautiful chapter of my life,
這首專輯的寫作和巡演的過程
both the writing and touring side of it.
都是我人生中一個美妙的章節
I thought it'd be cool to tell you guys a liltle bit more about the songs, you know?

About what they mean to me, and mayble a liltle bit about the process behind it.

As you might know, I wrote most of the album at an airbnb in Echo Park L.A.
正如你們所知，這張專輯大部分都是我在洛杉磯Echo Park的一間愛彼迎民宿裡寫的
No fancy studio or expensive equipment,
沒有高檔的工作室和昂貴的設備
Just a laptop, some old tape machine and a bunch of guitars.
只有一台筆記本，幾台老式磁帶機和一堆吉他
Often times surrounded by beautiful genuine people.

Let's start with uh, with the first song of course -

Everything Matters When It Comes to You
With album one I really wanted to bring back the guitar in my music.
我真的很想把吉他帶回到我的音樂里，帶到裡
I studied guitar, I used to play guitar in bands, I was a guitar teacher for many years.
我學過吉他，我以前是樂隊裡的吉他手，我當過很多年的吉他老師
But when I started producing music as San Holo, I kind of stop playing.
但當我以San Holo的身份開始製作音樂時，我慢慢放下了吉他
Because I was just so inspired by the entire electronic music world,

And instead of a guitar I grabed, a keyboard ordrump machine to express myself.

However I really started to miss the sound and five guitars.

And one night on tour, I was messing around on my guitar, 'cause I was feeling kind of weird,

You know how that goes.

At some point, I played this thing.

I don't know why but it just felt like something special that I had to record, so I recorded it.

And then it kind of evolved into.

And then I stop recording and I went on with life.

And I forgot that I record it. I think almost a year later when I started writing album one.

I really discovered it and realized this was the intro for my album.

There's a little guitar harmony later on the song that I was pretty excited about when I wrote it.

It's kind of like a thank you to him.
